Winter 2022 has chosen to return to the realm of wonder. The little minimalism that remains from the pandemic is probably found in super technical yet stylish activewear, silk pajamas as elegant as a tailored suit, and comfortable shoes. In contrast, accessories are unapologetically bold and exuberant. Among the great loves of the cold season are long earrings—preferably unique ones—worn strictly as a pair and adorned with pearls, crystals, colorful stones, golden gleams, and eye-catching charms.

The long, dangling earring is back in the spotlight with a completely contemporary twist. Chandelier styles recall the Eighties, flowers and fruit are an ode to not taking oneself too seriously, while pearls illuminate and gold or silver highlight facial features with their metallic shine. Choose designs that fall elegantly from the lobes to brush against the chin: minimal, with just a thin golden thread; or more eye-catching, with cascades of rhinestones; or romantic, with floral motifs or a maxi heart.
